Chris OżógNILE Consultant Trainer

Chris Ożóg is a teacher, teacher trainer, materials writer, and examiner, originally from Scotland but now based in Japan. After completing an MA in English Language and Literature at The University of Edinburgh, Chris continued his studies by taking an MSc in Film Studies, also at Edinburgh.

Chris has been involved in English language teaching for almost twenty years and has been a CELTA and Delta trainer for around twelve of those. He is also a CELTA and Delta Assessor and has trained many tutors to work on these courses over the years. Chris is the former editor of the IH Journal and has presented at international conferences in various countries. His work has taken him across the globe, but he also teaches and trains online too, something he enjoys.

Chris likes nothing more than to go hiking in his spare time and you might see him in a coffee shop, writing textbooks, studying Japanese, or even relaxing.
